Description

RGB! That's all that needs to be said....

but, I will go further. I use it for gaming mostly, a little for art and general work related stuff. This was my first build and it went well. Everything is fitted well, cable management is good until you look behind the power supply and airflow and temps seem great as well.

Has the Kraken X42 been worth it or would you rather have gone with the Kraken X52/X62?

this is my first water cooler, I wouldn't know anything better or worse :/ it works great though with great temps

Lyrix 0 points 12 months ago

bigger radiators always equal in lower noise.

Chocothunder 1 Build 1 point 12 months ago

Well I was wondering why they got the X42 and not the other ones, I thought maybe it was the best bang for your buck, but its good to know the x52/x62 is quieter.

Lyrix 0 points 12 months ago

well if i would go a big rad then with the x62 because 140mm fans are quieter than 120

Question Lexi,

I notice that you installed the AER fans 140mm fans on the back of the s340. I have an elite and can't seem to get the 140 to fit without it hitting the IO shield therefore I mounted it on the top. Any tips?

yes the fan slot at the back is only 120mm... there shouldn't be screw holes for 140mm as there arent on mine because yes they'd hid the rear io
