Description

So, I finally decided to build my first PC.

I had a PC a couple of years ago the I bought and that eventually died. Once that died I just played my Xbox as that is what all my friends were playing at the time. I played a lot of Call Of Duty and then really got into Overwatch.

I wanted to make the transition to Overwatch for PC as well as other games. I finally bit the bullet and decided buy the parts and build it myself so that I could have it how I wanted. The spec is definitely higher than what is needed for Overwatch but I wanted to build something that looked nice and would run other games at high fps.

I also wanted something that would last me a fair few years. I think I achieved that with this build.

I didn't run into any issues and as an IT Engineer I'd like to think that I wouldn't :)

The RGB is what was the default when I booted it up. I have the option to go White/Black/Grey which I agree looks very clean. But with going RGB route I get the option to chop and change :)

I love the H500 case, its perfect. i like it so much I have one myself. i wish you could get 240/280mm of fans up top though.

I think it is one of the nicest cases you can buy currently. Simple, clean and easy to build in. I agree with you that it would be nice to have the option to mount the cooler up top but I don't mind it being at the front :)

Looking to buy the same motherboard. Can you tell me your thoughts on it? Was it easy to install everything in there just like a typical motherboard?

Thanks:

P.S Nice build man :)

The motherboard is good. I was expecting the old tomahawk b450 board that had been flashed to run ryzen 3000. I was pleasantly surprised when this one came instead as it meant that no features in the BIOS were disabled. It was also easy to install.

Thanks :)

What settings do you have on your monitor? I have the same one with a GTX1070 and I am trying to get things nailed down. Are you using FreeSync?
