Description

So ummm.... ignore my profile description, totally false. I'm a thirteen year old 7th grader and I am taking a Computer Tech class at school that teaches us the anatomy of a computer, the uses of each component, how to build one, and how to use various programs on it. So when I was asked what I wanted for Christmas back in November I instantly knew: COMPUTER. After multiple drafts I ended up with what you see here.

I bought the parts over the course of the last week and today I sat down and build my first PC with what I think to be some pretty good cable management.

UPDATE: January 19 I overclocked the CPU up to 3.8 GHz, and League of Legends plays at 60 FPS with VSync and peaks at 250 FPS without VSync. The computer can also play CS:GO at 180 with VSync, and peaks at 400 FPS without it.

UPDATE: February 11 I decided to run Firestrike on the PC, and on the final test it pooped out. But in Sky Diver I finished the tests with a score of 14152 and an average of 90 FPS.

Very nice job on the cable management my man. How come your purchase price for everything is $0? I'm sure you or someone or bought the parts for you paid some money.

Need to fix that, but I spent around $483 out of pocket on the thing.

Well I installed everything but the ram in about 2 1/2 hours including cable management. Then I had to order the ram and installation for that took about 5 minutes.

Yeah I realized the SATA situation a little too late. But I'm gonna get a better MoBo and probably step up to ATX in the near future.

I follow the same story, but I learnt how to build and how PC's work from relatives and the internet. Love the build and the reference to Spaceballs.
