So my little brother Birthday is coming up, so I decided to give him a nice present for this year. He likes to game since I was technically the one to introduce him to the PC gaming world. Since parents don't really care much about gaming, and say that our "toys" are too expensive, well he has no real gaming PC. HE currently games on a laptop(don't even know the brand or model myself) that is not meant for gaming so his gaming experience is not good. So I put together this list to make a entry level system with some parts that I had laying around.
Parts that already had are: the EVGA BT 450 PSU, The 1TB HDD and the GTX 960.
Parts that I decided to buy to complete this build are:
AMD Ryzen 2200g, I choose this CPU because it was cheap (bought it from google express for 61.07 dollars) and delivered really good performance you get 4 Cores/Threads. and Also come with the Vega 8 Integrated graphics if for some reason the gpu fails. I think this was the perfect entry level CPU to pair with the Old parts that I had.
ASROCK B450M Pro4: This one I got it in a from newegg on a sale where it had it at 69.99 plus a 10 dollars MIR, the reason I choose this one was because I read online this was good mobo to overclock, also has 4 Ram slots, so in the future he can add another 8 gigs of ram. and since AMD says they will support the AM4 socket for a few more Gens, I think this was a solid Choice.
Team T-force Delta RGB: Well its 3000 rated Ram 8 Gigs and Has RGB and it wasn't that expensive, thanks god ram prices went down!! Well technically I decided for this RAM because it was fast ram with RGB and cheap. Cheapest RGB ram on the market lol.
ADATA 120gb SSD: I already Had a 1TB HDD but I wanted to add at least an SSD to boot Windows. I grabbed it this one because it was cheap, and had good reviews, not really anything else to add. wanted Windows to boot fast.
DIY F2-0: Well I liked how the cased looked, it also came with 2 Case fans that had LED, it came in another two color I think there were Purple and White(not 100% sure) I decide with Orange because I liked how it looked (hopefully he likes orange LOL)
I Haven't bought the monitor yet, but I am planning on buying the Acer SB220Q bi, its an IPS panel 21.5" 1080p at 75 HZ since the current build is aimed for 1080p gaming, to run games at around 60fps more or less, I thought it was a good monitor for him.
Well what you guys think of it? Have you changed some parts for something else? What do you guys think of the monitor should I consider something else before buying this one? Thanks and dont forget to comment.
