Description

First time posting a build here on PCpartpicker, so forgive me if I messed anything up.

The final build photos of Benchy McBenchface. This build was done to try something new. A build without a case, where everything would be visible. So much work has went into this. The distro plate alone has taken an absurd amount of time to plan, machine & polish, and I am working on a video showing how everything goes together.

A lot of people wonder where the radiators are located. The build is actually done with external radiators in mind, and I will be showing off the radiator station that cools this thing later on. The hybrid graphic cards actually help keeping the fluid temp down as I run them at low fan speeds at all time where they are barely audible.

Please visit my facebook and youtube (and subscribe if you like my builds :D ) for more pics and videos.

Thanks! I am using the Panasonic GH5, with a leica 2.8-4.0f 12-60 mm lense. You can find full 4K pics here: https://imgur.com/a/HoiU8

This is quite unique, never seen something getting close to this. Absurd amount of time must be the perfect way to describe the effort put into it. And the result is amazing!

TacoNinja 2 Builds 7 points 7 months ago

Give this man, or woman (cause equality), a feature! You got the "try something new" part right! Not only a custom water cooled bench, but the loop is the bench

OccamAsylum 13 Builds 6 points 7 months ago

A test bench that is also a waterblock. Get outta here.

Astounding. I enjoyed your build log at overclock.net.

ryansmission 4 Builds 3 points 7 months ago

This thing is RADICAL my friend. Well done!

If it's not featured I'll have to start my own PCPP in protest!

ryansmission 4 Builds 3 points 7 months ago

Oh and +1 just for the name, let alone the build!

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

Looks like you wont have to:D And thanks!

REmborg 3 points 7 months ago

How do you keep it cool. Cuz i cant see a rad

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

I got an external radiator setup. But I can actually also run it with just the "radiators" on the GPU's if I disable SLI so only one card is active. Not with splendid temps though, but it works.

DaMysteryMan 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

What is that case and where can I buy it?

Wolf88 4 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

The metal looks like the “open bench table” bench and he modified that.

DaMysteryMan 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

With what?

Chipsaru 1 Build 2 points 7 months ago

Check his build log, he describes how he made it from scratch from huge acrylic pieces using CNC machining based on 3d model.

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

As wolf said below, take a look on my facebook page if you want to see some work in progress pictures :)

I may have to try my hand at a mini ITX one of these! +1 and a gauranteed feature!

cooperj600 2 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

And here I'd thought I'd seen it all. It's like a visitor from another planet

Mason54 23 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

You had me at the name, amazing build and well done, the only thing i might recommend is compression of some sort on the barbs like a zip or something. Its not crucial but personally i don't trust just a barb.

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

I thought about it, and actually had some cool ones ordered, but I decided against it, as the hoses are so tight on the barb, and the angle they are in means that they will never snap off.

JCMsergox 4 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

This build reeks of feature bait. ;)

Radox-0 5 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

Dammmmm, this is seriously gorgeous work. Need to go find my bottom jaw, nuff said.

Kwerpi 4 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

I see you are active outside to reddit. It’s gorgeous, where can I get one?

Chipsaru 1 Build 2 points 7 months ago

Pics are studio quality. Are you using some big white boxes with lots of additional lightning? Also that custom machined base with integrated cable management and water distribution canals... incredible amount of work. How did you manage to find proper o-rings for sealing?

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

Please check out my youtube channel, I got lots of other builds like this:D I made the channels so they would fit existing length o-rings.

OfficialP90 1 Build 2 points 7 months ago

HOLY S@#% +1 WOW. What a unique and altogether captivating build! This rig looks annihilating! The components, let alone the cpu, are absolutely devastating in performance! The graphics cards look dominating as well! I have one question for you, how the &#$@ could you afford all of this!!?! I mean come on man! The benchtable has got to be the single most beautiful, custom mod I have ever seen a computer built on! The loop is also so so so so sexy! It adds so much more to the build with the loop INSIDE the actual benchtable! The color scheme and overall theme of this rig has me dumbfounded, I absolutely love how every (incredibly overkill) component molds together into one astonishingly beautiful and mind captivating build! Also, the showcasing of this build was exceedingly well done! Bravo!!! Keep up the good work, seriously!

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 3 points 7 months ago

Thanks a million man. Comments like this makes it all worth it.

All of the components are sponsored by the various companies (amd, asus, corsair, ek), so I could use my money on making the custom stuff.

OfficialP90 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

Nicceeee! That's awesome! Keep on building man!

s.a.wood15 3 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

Very amaze, so +1. Wow.

Zurus 2 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

With the Power of my brilliant super small? Brain I will say that this is a pretty good build.... Feature Worthy....

AhodShralpy 7 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

Wow, truly a work of art! Nice job putting this thing together. No ********, just raw part drool-age!

You should try and get this featured on JayzTwoCents or Bitwit youtube channels, I'm sure they'd be interested.

skyrise 1 Build 2 points 7 months ago

This looks like a piece of Alien technology...

SmartWolf 2 points 7 months ago

logged in just to +1

Love the originality and engineering skills.

But dude the cost is non-sensical. <-- spend it if u got it i guess. :)

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

I just put in the prices I could find. The parts are sponsored, so I just threw in some high-end gear :P

SmartWolf 1 point 7 months ago

Just fyi I wasn't intending to imply that the listed costs were incorrect for the items, just that the total cost was exorbitant. Good to know that the parts were sponsored.

And please understand, the 99% of my comment was otherwise intended as compliment! Really, that is just a remarkable build!

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

Thanks man! And I did not take it in a bad way at all:D

SmartWolf 1 point 7 months ago

looking forward to seeing how it's cooled. :)

VibeRL 2 points 7 months ago

Arminecraft 1 Build 2 points 7 months ago

Dude this is probably one of the most interesting builds I've seen in months. You must be proud, this is a piece of art in the building community.

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

Thanks man!

Jeuloth 1 Build 2 points 7 months ago

What is this case??

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

Heavily modified OpenBenchTable BC1.

MooseCow 2 points 7 months ago

Is there a possibility that we could get a more detailed parts list?

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

What more do you want? The only extra things are some EK fittings, and ZRT tubing, and then a bunch of custom made stuff. I made all the cables from scratch with material from pexon-pcs, and designed the acrylic part myself as well.

powellbm86 8 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

This has got to be the most legit pc i've seen so far

MarkoPT 1 Build 2 points 7 months ago

Sweet dreams are made of this.

Dezimodnar 2 points 7 months ago

This is possibly the best thing I've ever seen on here. Looks absolutely amazing, and wow those specs make my eyes water. Wish I had the money and skill to create something like this. Well done!

syg101 3 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

inb4 featured

Radox-0 5 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

Ahhh, was wondering why your name seemed so familiar, recall seeing your videos, especially that Project NV one ages ago which is pure sexy and the R40 project which I think saw winning 3D guru contest? Man one of the reasons why I said to myself I wanted to get into watercooling.

Looks like this is just another exceptional build in a long line :)

gorkti200 2 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

Alright, now that's pretty frickin cool.

NeatFreak 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

My god, this is beautiful...

Gooberdad 9 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

Fascinating build.

Thumbs up and congrats on the featured spot.

Minomir 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

W-O-W!!! Stunning feat of engineering!!! Hats off to you, sir.

Absolutely loving the idea built-in pumps (loving it exactly like the rest of the build, haha). Could you, please, tell us more about that? Did you disassemble existing pump, or is it something custom made?

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

I took some existing EK pumps, and just incoorporated them into my design for the custom made distro block. Check my youtube to see how I make those:D

Velocitron2000 1 point 7 months ago

I think this may be the coolest looking build I've seen to date.

nammerbom 1 point 7 months ago

This has to be at the top of my list for best case (or "case" in this case) idea on the site

Yahtadi 1 point 7 months ago

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 3 points 7 months ago

I am actually already in the process of building a new one :P

Nightstorm229 1 point 7 months ago

Plz give this poor n00b a build Dx I'll cost me an arm and a leg.. and quite possibly, a kidney, if you accept those as payment ;D

LoneCrusader 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

WOW! I felt like I was looking at a piece of artwork going through your photos, in a sense I guess I was. Your presentation was flawless. Really diggin' the color scheme too. Very beautiful work and idea.

EagleByte 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

No wonder this thing is featured!

Keanu_Louw 1 point 7 months ago

Bro..., Im sure if anyone read the description and saw that you said "forgive me if I messed anything up" and then looked at the parts list aswell as the pictures, everyones thoughts would be WTF he would say something like this. Your really a PC Craftsman, Great Work!

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

Haha thanks man, but there is always the slight chance of missing something when posting for the first time on a new platform. I have often been reccomended PCPP but have never gotten around to posting my builds here before now. I am in the process of posting the rest of my builds, but it will take a while LOL

Wolklung 1 point 7 months ago

I need to stop for a moment to think about how this is even possible.

I'm seeing it... & I just can't believe it!

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

Patience, determination and a wild imagination :P

Hajiwaji 1 point 7 months ago

I just took a price I could find online. I actually did not pay for any of the parts, as they where sponsored for this build. I just paid for all materials for the custom stuff.

p0Pe submitter 2 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

Yeah, it really sucked. I saw the 32 gb kit being on the supported list for the mobo, so thought that 64 would Work as well. Oh well...
