Description

I did my rebuild finally. I just updated some parts to be there and it made me remake the post? So I dunno lol.

Anyway, it's a dual liquid loop. All parts are there except for cooling products which are; - 2 x EK XRES 140 Revo D5 PWM Pump/Reservoir Combo with EK RES X3 TUBE 400 add on - EK-HDC Fittings and EK PETG Tubing 16mm OD - Various fittings, all by EK in Black - 2 x Thermaltake LUMI Plus LED Strip 3 pack - 1 x CableMod PRO ModMesh Cable Extension Kit Black/White (as they don't make replacement kits for the non i series PSU's) - 2 x EK-Coolstream SE 480 Slim Quad Radiators - 2 x Primo-Chill VUE Pre-Mixed Coolant - Yellow - 2 x Primo-Chill VUE Pre-Mixed Coolant - Sky White SX - 1 x EK WB X470 Gaming 7 Monoblock with LED - 1 x EK WB GTX1080 Strix OC GPU Block Nickel

There are a couple things that will change shortly and updates will follow. I am going to drain the VUE out soon as I've seen too many issues with it (So far so good though) and change the yellow to EK Solid Electric Purple. And add in two Zelda figurines to match the scheme. So stay tuned!

I can see some things not on the parts list; that Thermaltake fancontroller: that Silverstone NAS (or hotswap bays, hard to tell); the fittings, waterblocks, rads, etc. What's their story? Why are they there? Why the cream-colored fluid instead of something more (or less) contrast-y? I spent 8+ years as a slot machine tech and 7 more as an IT tech; if you didn't document it, you didn't buy it, install it, or do it. It's an interesting-looking build, people are gonna wanna know these things... :)

Exactly my feeling as a mechatronics engineer. :D

These items I couldn't find in the searching tabs doing the build. I'll have another look. Not sure what part you're talking about with the hotswap? If referring to the 2 Hard drive bays in the front, that's part of the case.

Oh, ok. I was thinking they might be a NAS or a Hot Swap Mobile Rack Backplane because of the bay covers.

Do I spy Vue?

If so...keep a careful eye on it.

Oh don't worry I'm aware. Best mate has had nothing but troubles. This was a full fresh loop so was happy using it, after a service/clean I'll probably change it out.

The list is incomplete, but that doesn't take away how nice the build is. The custom loop is simple and clean. Very well done. +1

Hopefully there is more storage in there than is listed. lol

You are correct, I'll have to update it. There is also a 3TB WD Black and 4TB WD Black and a 480GB SATA SSD

Just rewired a TriForce LED light to put inside it, just haven't wanted to open the system up again to fit it. Probably do that when the time comes to service it :)

The main one was a 27" Samsung S27A950D 120hz, which was recently replaced over Xmas with a Acer Predator 27" Gsync screen. The outside 2 are a 27" Acer IPS panel. Don't have the exact model number. I only game on the center screen.
