Description

So, the time finally arrived where i have given up on consoles and come back to PC gaming! I haven't owned a PC capable of gaming since I was a child - how odd is that.

The aim, was to have a solid build that can be used to game on things like Destiny 2, World of Warcraft, Division 2 and whatever else too my fancy.

I really enjoyed putting this together, after a few chosen curse words and a couple of scratched on the old knuckles - I finally got it all set up. Machine booted first go and the only issue I had was with the network card requiring a driver download.

Im still in the middle of downloading the games I play, however have run a user benchmark test with the results below.

UserBenchmarks: Game 98%, Desk 118%, Work 101%

Model Bench
CPU AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 97.1%
GPU Nvidia GTX 1660-Ti 94.7%
SSD Samsung 970 Evo NVMe PCIe M.2 250GB 234.4%
RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 C16 2x8GB 100.1%
MBD MSI B450 Tomahawk

Overall, I'm really happy with this build, looks pretty clean and tidy for someone inexperienced with building pc's. Not a bad way to spend £1k - but hopefully its going to last a while.
