Description

A little low on processor power for my CAD uses, however, it is a great first build. Pretty much screw, plug, download, and play.

Pretty much screw, plug, download, and play.

The definition of building a PC.

as far as building a solid cheaping gaming rig, you hit the nail right on the head man \

Depending on how much you paid these parts and how much other would've cost, I'd say you did good for a cheap rig. I have just one complaint, it looks like all your fans are pulling air into the case, for what I can see. If that's the case, you may want to rotate the back and top ones, so you can push air out from the back and top, or better yet, flip the back one so it exhausts air out and put the top one at the front as intake. Having more intake than exhaust is usually better.

Now that you mention it that totally makes sense and I'm not sure why I didn't think about it already. I'll probably flip the rear fan as an exhaust.

First of all, nice budget build! I often see a lot of people skipping the hard drive in these budgets, and am happy to see you didn't do that. What I recommend is that you either remove the blue intel sticker from the stock cooler or you get a different cooler, because the blue doesn't look great with the red LEDs. Personally, I'd have gone with a GTX 1060 instead of the RX 470, but your choice is definitely defensible as well.
