I built this machine with the aim of being able to play AAA titles at Ultra settings at 1440P. The GTX 1070 ensures it does this well.
The Samsung NVMe SSD ensures that boot times and OS responsiveness is exceptional. Everything worked out of the box, no dramas with drivers or similar.
Two minor hardware issues: 1) The GPU tab interfered with one of the audio capacitors on the motherboard. I just bent the capacitor out of the way and all was ok. 2) The CPU would only boost to 4.4 GHz out of the box on auto settings. I had to change the multiplier for it to get to 4.5 GHz. Voltage is 1.168 V which I am happy with for now.
Bear in mind when looking at the idle temps that the ambient temp here in sunny Queensland is 34 ° and my house is not air conditioned so I am happy with the job the cooler is doing.
Major downside is that when gaming the GPU puts off so much heat into the room that it's quite unbearable, in summer anyway.
Works very well in my M-ITX system, PWM fans are great. Installation was easy.
Works well, build quality seems high. One audio capacitor interfered with the tab on my GTX 1070. Also my 7700k would only boost to 4.4 GHz in default out of box settings.
Amazingly fast. What a machine. Wokred as OS boot device on my Asrock Z270 mobo.
Great little case. No real concerns. Front filter could be a tighter weave and the internal side panel that holds the HDDs could be removable for people not using it. It would greatly increase airflow to the GPU.
Works very well, nice image quality runs at 165 Hz with G-Sync on without any problems. Worse light bleed around edges than other IPS monitors I have seen, Apple ones though.
