Description

My first build. Works very well, good temps, and good fps! It can play games like Fortnite, CS:GO, etc. Also, SSD is coming soon! (And sorry for my bad camera quality)

Part Reviews

CPU

Great CPU, for $100 it has 4 cores, you can overclock it pretty high, and the stock cooler is more than decent!

Motherboard

Good budget B350 board. 2 M.2 slots, 3 fan headers, and USB-C for a cheap price.

Memory

Works well, looks nice, and got mine to overclock to 2800.

Storage

A typical 1tb hard drive, works fine, what else can I say.

Video Card

With graphics card prices so high right now, I decided I was just going to get a GTX 1050, but then my grandpa got this one for me at Micro Center, and he didn't really care about the price. Anyway, it's a great card! It can get well over 60fps on games like CS:GO.

Case

Good budget case, the only cons are there's only 1 included fan, the I/O is in a weird place on the side of the case. Other than that, it's a pretty good case, and I like the triangular design on the front.

Power Supply

Nice semi-modular PSU. Works fine so far, and I got it on sale on Amazon.

Wireless Network Adapter

Works fine, but it can get pretty slow if you are far away from your router.

Case Fan

Nice fans, and the LED's look good too.

I have been trying to make a decent but cheap amd build so i could afford a decent pc with my first job and i could mix and match right and you did it greatly thanks man!

Also is there room for some upgrades like a ryzen 5 in the future or a 1060ti and some more RAM?

Isaacr100 submitter 1 Build 2 points 2 months ago

Thanks! And yes, you could definitely upgrade to Ryzen 5 and a GTX 1060. About the RAM, you could for sure upgrade it as much as you want. If you use 2 4GB sticks like I did to begin with, you could add 2 more, or even add 2 8GB sticks for a total of 24GB, or you could just add as much as you want and it should work fine.

Mr.shazzam12 1 point 2 months ago

Could i just use 1 stick of 8gb because i found 1 stick for like 10$ cheaper

Isaacr100 submitter 1 Build 1 point 2 months ago

You could, but using 2 4GB sticks it would run faster because it would be in dual channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nSX2taw-Y4

could possibly make a mid range one with a ssd included in the future?

what monitor is best for this

Isaacr100 submitter 1 Build 1 point 2 months ago

Any 1080p monitor should work fine

I_still_play_tf2 1 point 2 months ago

also can this run pubg?

Velocitron2000 2 points 2 months ago

Go search 1050 Ti benchmarks, it can do 1080p 60 FPS so long as you lower some settings.

nc3710 1 point 2 months ago

would I be able to swap out the Zotac 1050ti for a Gigabyte 1050ti?

Isaacr100 submitter 1 Build 1 point 2 months ago

yeah definetly
