Description

This is a mostly top end build I use purely for gaming. The CPU is overclocked to 4.8ghz and the water cooling keeps it at around 35c, I could overclock more but see no need to.

Overall the machine runs perfectly with no issues I've seen so far. Next port of call for upgrading is the GPU, as the one I have could do with an upgrade as some very intensive games are not the easiest to run on the card.

One of the main things I wanted in this build was aesthetics and I believe I have achieved exactly what I wanted quite well, and I'm extremely happy with the way this build turned out and the way it now looks. I added the pop figures to give the build a much nicer appearance and it personalises it more to me, which I really like.

Part Reviews

Case

Amazing case with great cable management features, well-detailed manual online outlining literally everything such as each individual screw's use. Huge space for expansion and slots to add up to six hard drives and 2 SSDs, this is a big, chunky case.

The included RGB strip, built in button for the said strip and the different modes, solid, colour changing RGB, etc. is a really nice touch to this case, adding on the slight soundproofing and keeping in mind I spent hours searching for the best case for me, I have one of my perfect cases.

Software

Great anti-virus, great detections rate. One downside is the fact it can be temperamental to disable for certain files if it false-positives them, which, whilst rare for files which don't come from even slightly questionable sources, does happen every so often.

Apart from great, great, solid anti-virus.

How's the AOC 144hz monitor? I'm thinking of getting with my build and I have a similar build (MSI GTX 1060 6GB, i7-7700k).

Sorry for never responding to this, I never saw it. The question may not be relevant to you anymore, but for anyone else wondering I'd say it's a decent low-end 144hz monitor but the colour depth isn't great, takes a huge amount of tinkering to get blacks to look black and not show all pixely. Overall I'd say buy a more expensive model, one with better colour.

Nah I like them, otherwise as @xTroodz said it would just be empty space. Domo is a nice, fun character to include
