This is my second full build I have done, the first being over 6 years ago. I wanted to take a lot of effort into making it not just a powerful rig, but a beautiful one. I went with a black and white build because I loved the look of the white h440 and felt as though any color on the inside would distract from it.
I plasti-dipped the backplate of my 980ti and I am planning on doing the fan shroud as well. I wanted to try something different than most people do so I decided for a more rugged look for my h100i tubing. I wrapped it in electrical tape and I love the result. It maintains that rugged imperfect look while still holding that white sheen. I decided not to use cable combs because I liked the messy-ish look of them combined with the taped h100i tubing. (Also, I think the combs are kind of cliche ;) )
If you have any questions for me about this build feel free to ask!
I bought this for streaming and it has handled it like a champ. Streaming a CPU intensive game like CSGO is no easy task, and this bad boy manages to handle it well.
Does it's job well. My only complaint is the noise of the fans. I believe that Corsair really should stop gimping those who buy their products with crappy fans. Is it really that much more expensive to put quality fans in with your coolers, Corsair?
I don't have much to say about this board. It made OC'ing as easy as ever and it didn't come broken. Five stars for that!
Absolutely amazing card. I don't play many gpu intensive games, but the ones that I do play this card has handled amazingly.
Beautiful case and made cable management a breeze. Definitely happy with it coming from buying only Corsair cases before!
