Description

Took me four attempts to correctly align the cooler on the IHS properly.

Now the temps are 29-32 C on idle. Hits 45-55 C during gaming. AIDA64 hits 65 C. Make sure you tighten the cooler down on the IHS or your temps will jump around. Use Ryzen Master to check temps as well otherwise your numbers wont be accurate.

Part Reviews

CPU

Runs a little hot from what I'm use to while idle (29-32 C). Under load it hits temps of 71-75 (71 C being the reported average). Use Ryzen Master to check temps, as other programs do not give accurate numbers.

CPU Cooler

With a room ambient temp of 18 C with a push/pull config with stock fans + corsair LL120's, it's relatively silent at 100% fan speed and maintains an idle temp between 29 C and 32 C. Under load while gaming it jumps up to 45-55C now. Initial temps I reported were off, the cooler wasn't seated correctly on the IHS / screwed in tight enough. I used thermal grizzly and keep the system at stock.

Motherboard

Occasionally has memory issues during start up.

Memory

Occasionally has memory issues when starting. Beautiful ram.

Case

The best case I've ever built in, tons of room, super modular.

Once I finish the cable management in the back, I absolutely will. Corsairs LL120s are a rat **** mess to manage. I appreciate the support!

Awesome build! I just bought the same case at Micro Center and I'm trying to get some ideas on my build. I see you wen't with 10 Corsair LED fans, but your list also has four Noctua NF-P12 fans. Where did you use those Noctua fans at? Would love to see more pics if you have any. Love this!!!

Behind the radiator, push / pull config. I recommend deepcools 10 pwm fan header expansion too. Its not listed but I did use one. The case is truly amazing, youll know what I mean when you open it up and pull the back panel off.

Occasionally, ( like 3 times total) I've received the qcode for memory error during start up and had to reboot( i forget the code). Not a big issue, just a minor one. I do have the bios fully updated too.

Any idea what might be going on? I am planning to use this memory kit and possibly this board (if I don't use the formula or the MSI x570 creation instead). Kinda curious what might be going on here, this is a really expensive kit so if people have issues with it I will forgoe it.

Since I updated my bios, I havent had issues with it. There were either 3 or 4 bios updates since the release of the board.

Check your cooler bc it should be lower than that this machine is strong enough to cool that cpu
