Upgrading a 10 years old office PC

This 10 years old office PC has been upgraded by an Intel 270 chipset and a used i7 6th gen CPU - for office and web applications more than sufficient. Due currently low memory prices the machine has been equipped with 32 GByte memory.

To reduce the noise level all fans have been replaced with low-priced Noctua Redux fans. Additionally, as primary hard drive a used Samsung 960 EVO replaced the old HDD drive.

The main goal of this build was to enhance the processing power of the existing computer as cost-saving as possible. The upgraded PC should also provide some future proofness.
