I love it, very nice build. Nearly identical spec-wise to my own build, I am curious how well the 2080 is handling high refresh rates at 1440p? I still have a 1080p 144hz monitor (paying off the credit card before I up my resolution) but I will probably go the same as you did when I make the move.

Thank you! The 2080 is quite a beast. I had a 4670K before and it already handled most shooters very nicely but I had a bit of a bottleneck. With the 3700X I see a clear improvement in minimum frames, 144 pretty much locked in Apex. I'll be trying other games soon, I hope for a nice bump in BF V. Very pleased with this card overall. Perfect fit for 1440p and VR.

Is dark rock pro 4 worth it for this CPU? I'm considering dark rock 4 (non pro).

Go for it. I've seen builds with the 3700x and DRP4 and so far everyone seemed perfectly satisfied. I'm sure it will do a fine job. I can't say anything bad about the Pro version either but it is a bit overkill, definitely not something you need for this CPU.
