I use this system as a two in one PLEX media server and gaming platform. I need all the extra RAM to speed up conversion. The only thing that is missing from this is my cooler, which hasn't arrived yet.

I run them in a raid setup, but yes I have 7.5TB available for movies.

I'm pretty sure the socket type is wrong, and I just looked at benchmarks and went with the best price per performance you know?

I am just saying as a server a xeon would work better you would need a new motherboard right? P.S. a Xeon has the same gaming power, but better at things that need more cores.
