My wife wanted a office PC so I upgraded my R7 1700X to R7 3700X and had enough parts for an extra build (already had 2x 1700X due to black friday 2018).

I switched to the Tesseract BF case that my son prefers.

This is a spare parts build. The MSI 980 ti Armor 2x was $150 shipped from ebay.

Video Card

Wanted one of these since release. Almost got one for $325 when the 1070 was first released. Glad I waited. I got this card from ebay for $150 shipped. The card overclocked is almost as fast as my 1070 ti at stock.

Great quiet, cool card. Replaced stock paste with Kryonaut Thermal Grizzly.

Poor cable management. I've had this a few years before the RGB craze and my wife picked it out for the white/purple (her new build is white with RGB). Has mesh front so good airflow.

I enjoyed the Phanteks P300. Was a nice case with good cable management and good airflow.

Yeah I'm happy with the deals I got and the performance. Put some thermal grizzly on the CPU and GPU and it demolishes 1080p gaming and is quite good in 1440p
