Description

I built this machine for Graphic Design, Gaming, and Glorified Web browsing for School. Working 100 percent fine. Idle temps are at 19 Celsius, under load (CS GO High) with multiple other programs open it sits at 22 Celsius. This system is amazing. I dont have to wait for anything to load or buffer. Basically was supposed to be a 500 dollar build. But the extra cash was worth it! Go modular. Cable management was a hassle.

Part Reviews

CPU

SOLID CPU. Its old, yes. But with a mild overclock to 4.2 Ghz this thing can rock with the best of them. Would highly recommend with a AIO cooler. The 212 will run hard to keep up.

CPU Cooler

Had to modify my Corsair Spec-02 Case to fit it for exhaust but it fit. And it works phenomenally with the FX-8320 8 Core Processor. Highly recommended!

Motherboard

Works well, would love another PCIE slot but who needs 3 GFX cards? Looks nice, easy to install my AIO on, bargain high performance Mobo. Highly recommended!

Memory

Works, but it arrived with a green dim with a black heat spreader. False advertisement. For that, minus 2 stars. Other than that you cant tell when its inserted into your mobo.

Video Card

Haven't really tested hard yet but runs CSGO at 150-270FPS at 30 Degrees Celsius. Runs cool, looks great. Highly recommended!

Case

The case works for the price. No frills other than the Red LED fan and RED LED strip in the front. Cable management was easy because of the budged side panel and the front plexi panel was a nice touch. Great case! But, with a 970 Asus Mobo and an H80i V2 I had to stretch the top rails a bit to fit the H80 in all of the way. But it worked!

Power Supply

Great psu, great price. Comes with self tester!

[REMOVED] Great build though. How's the 8 gb or RAM? I don't know if I should get 8 or 16 for my $500 build for gaming PC.

You should honestly look at your needs for the rig. What games are you going to play? I have 8 right now and will be upgrading to 16 soon. 8 Is fine, however I find in rendering videos I could use a bit more juice. 8 Is fine to start with, but you should look to see if you need more or if its fine where it is.

Just because it was my first build, I honestly don't know why I went that way. But as of now I love the performance and will look into the rx lineup with my next build. Getting more red fans! Team red!
