Description

I was a bit nervous building for the first time, but things went smooth. Many tutorials online made it easy to get it right the first time. I was always into PCs but never got around building one. The building was definitely one of my favourite parts for this build.

I primarily built this PC for gaming and holy s**t does it game well!! Have it hooked upto my 55 inch 4k TV. I get easy 60 fps on max settings in forza horizon 4 at 4k, around 60 fps in fortnite with some dips (again at max settings 4k).

Got the ryzen 3600 the day it came out and very pleased by the performance. I would have appreciated if all cores boosted to 4.2 GHz (hopefully oc could fix this), but anyways it performs well and offers more than I could ask.
UPDATE: got this baby at 4.2 GHz at 1.38 V.

Got this aio as it was on sale, got it for a great value at $70 CAD. It really cools well, getting idle of 34 degrees and max I ever saw was 71 degrees (celsius). In games the CPU never gets hotter than 65 degrees. Also has bright and vibrant RGB. One critic would be that you can hear the pump working which could be annoying to some.

I heard great things about the prime x470 pro and it definitely stands by them. There really wasnt a reason for me to buy a x570 board as I dont need PCI gen 4 and this board has great memory compatibilty anyways. Really love the look of the board as well.

G skill trident Z looks beautiful in my system. I was able to clock it at 3600 with 15-19-17-38 timmings compared to the stock 18-22-22-42.

This is my first time using a NVMe drive and its insane how fast everything loads. It takes me 7 seconds to boot into windows and games rip through loading screens.

Got a 2070 because I got a really good deal on it!! Got it for $522 CAD from canada computers. Also I wanted a 3 fan design just for the sake of better cooling. The card performs really well. The only thing i dont like about the card is that it has coil whine. I returned my first card which also had coil whine and got the one I have now. Still facing the same issue. The good thing is that I sit far away from the PC so its less of a concern to me but when it happens its annoying. Coil whine occurs when the GPU is under load in specific games, mostly when I turn v-sync off. When v-sync is on there is no coil whine. Also i was able to get a stable +200 MHz core clock and +800 MHz memory. Gave it 4 stars for the coil whine.

Absolutely love this case!! Loved the look of it the first time I saw it and it offered great value by providing a complete fan setup out of the box. Also it has RGB!! ok pratically though the case has great air flow and was very easy to build in.

Great PSU by corsair, got it because it was on sale again and I frankly wanted a modular PSU to keep cable mess on the low side. I never heard this thing make any noise.

Did you have any problems with the BIOS using the 3rd gen CPU?

No, I updated the bios using a 2700, since then the cpu has been performing great!

Hey there just wondering about the CPU cooler. So just to confirm the CPU cooler only can emit a single solid colour right? and in your opinion, if the case fans were gradient colours would it look bad to have a solid CPU cooler?

Hi spiky sorry for the late reply, the cpu cooler and fans are all rgb and change colours but unlike a 5v addressable rgb they only show one color at a time. In my opinion the cooler and the fans look great, they are pretty bright too. Hope that answers the question!

Thanks so much and I don't mind the late reply. Glad to hear that you enjoy your build!
