Runs like a dream
I want to get the same motherboard and cpu as you. Did you have to update the bios on the motherboard the the 3600?
Nope the Bios wasnt an issue, just make sure you get the Tomahawk MAX, the plain Tomahawk wont take the 3000 series Ryzen cpu without a BIOS update.
I will make sure to get the Tomahawk MAX. Thank you so much!
Im not joking we have the same specs, same GPU same CPU, and almost same Mobo
Noice clean build, and that looks like a clean setup aswell. Must say though, the choice of two SATA SSDs amounting to 1.5 TB of storage is a bit confusing. Why not go for NVMe?
Thanks! As for the storage, my thinking was that since i only have the 1 m.2 slot on the mobo, I'm gonna wait till i can get a good deal on a 1tb drive, but trust me thats next on the list lol
Super cool! That white NZXT case looks really good with the rgb inside your case. I suggest in the future getting a after market cooler for the cpu's because Ryzen 3rd gens can get toasty.
Not having much of an issue with cpu cooling right now. The stock one works fine for my uses, but maybe once those new kraken Z series coolers drop in price a bit I might pick one up
Very nicely done system. I want to do something similar though I'm likely going to use a 3700X and just a single 512GB or 1TB SSD. Otherwise, pretty much the same.
nice build man. curious to know how much u go the graphics card for..im looking at the same one and i dunno if i should wait for prices to go down or just get it for 345
I cant recall what i paid for the gpu, i bought all the components at once, but i think the prices now are pretty reasonable. Its a great gpu for the money, I doubt youll regret it
Hello brother arp49 which monitor do you use with this pc ? I mean does free sync monitor give any problem like screen tearing or any compatibility issue regarding sync technology?
Im using an Asus vg24, havnt had any sync issues
Hi! I' actually going to buy your same components and i have some questions for you... How did you setup the RGB in the NZXT case? Are they already set in the case or i have to fix them? How about the sync with the GPU's RGB and Mobo? Thanks in advance
It was super easy! The lights and fans were already mounted and hooked up to a controller, just had to plug that into the MOBO. To control the case lights and fans, download the NZXT CAM software, to control the RAM, MOBO, and GPU, download MSI Dragon Center. Alternatively, for the RAM, use the Corsair iCue software, i find there's better lighting options with that.
So funny...literally the same specs as me only a different case and a Ryzen 5 3600X. How is it running? Any problems you have ran into so far? I'm going for a PC that I wont have to upgrade for the next couple of years or so without spending a bunch.
