Description

I purchased custom braided cables from MODdiy.com for my Seasonic PSU.

I tried my best routing the cables using combs for the PSU.

I knew 512GB for my 950 Pro wasn't going to be enough, and I didn't want a secondary "slower" drive. So I went out and got a 2TB Samsung 850 Pro SSD.

The GTX 1080 fits perfectly in the chassis.

I decided not to go water cooling (closed loop included) as I will NOT be Overclocking this PC. Rather, I will be running this PC at it's factory clocks.

I purchased an Intel 4790 CPU HSF, but eventually switched it out to an Artic Alpine 11 Plus because of how it looked, and the slightly better than factory cooling.

Really wanted this PC to be sitting on my desk, so I wanted a smaller, but sleek case. Also wanted an optical drive for my Blu Ray movies. Went with another UJ-265 drive, as my first one died on my Silverstone FT3 case.

I made sure I did the wiring the best to my ability!

The price is a little misleading unless you stole the CPU, mobo, and RAM.

Great ITX build!

What are the 1080's temps and how good does it perform? Planning to get one when it reaches my country.

Great build, but why a 1000w Seasonic?

My thoughts exactly. I don't see the PSU being any cheaper to justify the purchase. OP ?

2 years later still rocking this build. Still run all my games at max res @ 3440x1440! Anyways, couple of items have been upgraded: almost immediately, the 1080 was sold for a 1080ti. So that’s in there. Also the 950 pro is now a 970 pro.

Reason why I went with a 1kw seasonic plat: because it was a hand me down from my 2 previous builds in a sikverstone case! Why by a new PSU when I can keep the same one!

Load temps reaches approx 85C in the summer time gaming. Never crashed once, but summer, GPU’s ran a bit louder, but I’m also rocking my headphones so I’m not too bothered. But all this is also connected to a Sony STR Dolby Atmos Receiver. With 5.1 edifier speakers and a klipsch wireless sub.

Good looking build, what kind of temps are you getting from that ARTIC Alpine cooler?

45 in winter at idle, and 85 load in summer

How does it run under gaming load, in terms of temps and noise? Really pretty build, I'd love to put together something similar

As someone who also has this case im amazed by your cable management, as this case is not forgiving at all for cables.

Do you have any issues keeping your CPU cooled? I was thinking of putting this CPU Cooler on an i5-6600K

Hi i'm hoping one of you guys can help me.

I love the look of this inwin 901 itx case but i'm not sure if my 1080 amp extreme GPU card will fit in the slot. The length of the card is 320mm so its a big card. The inwin site states max of 300mm BUT people have had bigger cards in there. I just wanted to know if someone who had this case could measure the exact space/length available from front to back panel for a gpu card?

Cheers Az
