Description

I have been saving up for a complete budget setup for the past year. I had a budget of 500 dollars when it came to the PC, and the setup had a lower budget. After a few months I started to realize that I needed to focus on the aesthetics of my setup just to please myself. Below is what I came up with over the past couple of months. Keep in mind, all of this setup including peripherals and all costed under 1000 dollars when I purchased them all at that time.

Part Reviews

CPU

No Problems so far, I am although ready to upgrade because dual core is becoming outdated for today's gaming titles.

Motherboard

Got it on a great sale, and I love it. Prefect for budget and plenty of slots for my needs.

Memory

Great RAM, hard to go wrong with it.

Storage

No problems so far, decent speed.

Video Card

Great GPU, I love it. Handles plenty of my games. CSGO gets around 175-250 FPS average on all maps. BF4 gets around 90 FPS on 1080p high settings.

Case

Decent case, good simplistic look, not a lot of cable management room.

Power Supply

Almost regret buying this because the 24 pin connector doesn't fully click in the motherboard no matter how much pressure i put on it.

Operating System

...It's Windows xD

Monitor

Great monitor, perfect size, fits my needs for gaming and entertainment.

Keyboard

Great keyboard, typing on it now, sounds and feels amazing.

Mouse

Great mouse for gaming because of its pinpoint accuracy and response time.

Headphones

decent headset, only con would be the fact that it doesn't have a huge amount of volume for listening to music, other than that it is a great gaming headset.

Speakers

Perfect for Netflix, only problem i have is a loose power connector in the back of the main speaker.

Custom

Perfect all metal sturdy headset stand.

That's a really nice setup! I like the blue and black look. I also like your sneaky cat who found its way into a photo!

Yup! Blue and black is my goal for a color scheme. I'm looking to get a nice windowed case in the future with some blue LEDS. Any LED recommendations for on my desk and in the computer itself? And yes, Puff the cat did sneak in :3

I'd like to make a recommendation, but I'm a complete newb. I just started planning my first build, so I'm not qualified to make any recommendations.

Go ahead and say it! If its wrong you will get a learning lesson, and if it's correct that's even better!

My case does not have a glass window, so the only time I would see the RAM is when I open the computer itself. Thank you for the suggestion though!

I'm a complete newb to building pc's and I'm looking at getting into buying a gaming Pc how well does it perform and could it do 1080 p at 60 fps

  • 1 point

Yes. In CSGO I get around 150 - 250 fps on highest setting 1080p, and in BF4 I get 60-90 fps on ultra settings 1080p. IN other games like Rust I get around 40 but those games are rather large.
