Description

Build for gaming and CAD design. I wanted small but powerful pc and able to support large size graphic card. For cooling I choose Be quiet dark rock pro 4 as it look good in black/red h200i case and it was able to handle OC. It was hard to put all of this together due to cooler size and small case but was worth it.

After few test I've decided to try a bit of oc. Vega 64 is under voltage at 1100 mV with increased power target 150%, better idle temperature.

Ryzen 7 2700 is overclocked at 4ghz , i could reached better oc but this way I got good temperatures.

Good lord, I always forget how big that cooler is. Very nice build.

One thing you could do, just for aesthetic purposes, would be find a black SSD(or just paint your current one). It would just help the overall feel of the build, instead of having this oddball spot of grey in a red/black build.

Thanks, I wasn't sure what to do with it but you gave me an idea

If you do decide to paint it, remember, painters tape is your best friend! Don't repeat my mistakes! Make sure none of it gets on the contacts, or you'll have one hell of a time getting it off.

Sick build! I'm curious did you try any OC with the stock wraith cooler to compare temps?

I haven't try stock cooler as I intended to have beefier cooler from the start, I've checked some oc guides on ryzen 2700 and decided to give up on it.

Does the vega 64 hold well in this case ? I'm trying to find a good substitute for the nitro+ in a h200 because i don't want to cut the psu shroud for better airflow .

You should be fine with anything 2.5 slot size. Vega is holding well there are factory drilled hols for airflow

Gpu is undervolted 1010mv temps under heavy load are 78-80 In most games are 60-70 I did not want to cut PSU shroud yet.
