Description

I've made this build just to have a second PC for light gaming. I use a spare parts like storages and i bought used components like CPU and Mobo just to save some money. I've found a brand new Sapphire RX 560 for only 87$! I've also used a fan splitter to connect 4 Arctic Case Fan to PSU by molex. Very useful and practice. The system is not silent as i want, but for a backup solution is ok.

Part Reviews

CPU

Bought used for 35$, it works. Not as fast as modern CPU but it's ok.

CPU Cooler

Very cheap for the price. Is not like a Noctua, but in Windows is very silent, while gaming starts run @ 2.000 rpm so it become louder.

Motherboard

Bought used. is the only one Micro-ATX mobo for FX CPU. I love mATX so i sacrifice something. But this mobo is ok.

Memory

Is not my RAM. My exact model is not in PcPP database. Anyway is a DDR3 8Gb, so no complaint about it.

Storage

Fast enough for me. I use it for O.S. and some preformance-demanding games. Is cheap and works well.

Storage

Slow HDD but i have it in the wardrobe, so i decided to keep and use. Maybe just to storage some photos or videos.

Video Card

Bought for only 87$! It runs quite in Windows cause no-fan mode.Very happy with it. Maybe is not fast as Rx570/580, but for play in FullHD is ok.

Case

Love this case! Lot of space, quality, clearance, cable management, it also had DVD slot. The only issue is missing the top filter, so i bought a fan filter aftermarket. You can remove HDD cage to put a longer PSU.

Power Supply

Initially i've bought S12ii model, but it doesn't have the no-fan mode. So i upgrade to this one and i'm very happy! Silent and powerful. Fully modular is a must for a mATX or mITX cases.

Optical Drive

A simple DVD writer. Bought cause the case had the ODD slot :D

Case Fan

Not as silent as advertised, but it's a good fan for the price. I've connected 4 of them to a fan splitter. Maybe was better bought the PWM model.

I have no idea why, but the title of your build reminded me of the character Cassiopeia from the 5th wave novels. That aside, very nice build and great deal on the GPU. +1

Quite specific question... I saw you ran your cpu power behind the motherboard and around that top corner. How did that go for you?

The case has an hole for cpu power cable. But i have to run the cable BEFORE installing the mobo. The cable lenght is just enough; i prefer if it was longer.

The Rx 560 was found on a French site selling hardware. Don't remeber the name, but it was an offer only for one piece. Dunno why. Is not used, is new and it works fine.
