This is a build that is essentially an upgrade.

Existing system parts: Thermaltake P3 Snow Edition EVGA 650w Modular power supply AOC 27 in 1080p monitor stock keyboard, mouse Western Digital Green 1TB Hard Drive X2 (Raid 0) Seagate Firecuda 2TB Hybrid Hard Drive *EVGA 1070 Graphics

New Parts: Gigabyte Aorus X470 Gaming 7 WIFI Motherboard Ryzen 7 2700x Gen 2 CPU G.Skill Trident Z 8MB, 3200GHz x 2 Mushkin SSD 500GB Samsung EVO 970 - 250GB M.2 NVME (faster read/write than 960) MasterLiquid ML240L RGB Cooler ( 28 deg no load, 47 deg Tmax ). Wraith Cooler not enough.

I am still tweaking and playing with both BIOS and Software overclock. (UEFI and Ryzen Master) Stable at 3.9Ghz CPU and 2133GHz Memory O.C.

I had fun building this system and still need to try the best way to get a good stable Overclock using UEFI. Currently best success with Ryzen Master.

Cinebench Score = 1776 Firestrike Score = 15283

Had to download latest BIOS and Chipset.

Yes, I know that’s a lot of storage.. Huge DVD, Music, Photo collection. Games on Mushkin SSD. Some of the pictures are with the Wraith Stock cooler.

The Cinebench and Firestrike scores have improved a little bit. Those original values were before I was able to actually installed the Samsung EVO. WOW, amazing improvement! Super-fast access to applications. Don't know for sure if it's reaching advertised read/ write speeds.

The 2700x seems to handle multiple tasks with no hang ups. I highly recommend a fresh OS iinstall on a new M.2 drive. I had some trouble with the install at first...would not install. I forgot to unplug all the other sata drive connection. DUH.

Overclocking is a bit of a challenge. OC by UEFI vs. Ryzem Master vs. App Center. Got up to 4.2GHz with 1.4 CPU Volts, Memory up to 2800MHz (using AppCenter).

I have been gaming at stock settings. FPS rates are 70's and no lag or stutter.

Overall very pleased with 2700, X470MB and M.2 Drive OS.
