EDIT: The NZXT Hue+ came in and it's quite nice. The quality control of the LED strips is quite awful as many people have said in reviews for it. 4 LED's were dead or flickering. 2 on 2 strips, although one of the strips began to work fine after a day of being installed and the other had another LED die. Pictures available.

I built this to be able to destroy any game I choose. I know it's pretty overkill for my 900p monitor but, I plan to play 1440p. When the HUE+ comes back in stock I will be getting that. This will never really be a completed build because I plan to continually upgrade. Possibly a second 980ti for 4k, watercooling, mechanical keyboard, 1440p monitor, and custom sleeving. That will all be added whenever I have the funds.

Cable management could use a little work; I will have to look into same adhesive tie down points because the Enthoo Evolv has very few tie down points, but I love the aesthetic of it so much.

Yes I know 1000W is overkill, but 80+ Gold is most efficient at about 50% power consumption so thats my excuse, and that I want to eventually SLI.

Any recommendations are welcome.

Part Reviews

Beautiful case, not enough tie down points in the back for cable management, but I'm a sucker for form over function. The finish on the black model leaves noticeable fingerprints and shows dust too well. Easy enough to clean with isopropyl alcohol but still annoying having to wear gloves when handling it.

I love the mouse. Fits great in my hand and the ability to adjust weight is great. The software is easy to use. I wish I would have waited a couple of weeks to see the G502 Proteus Spectrum (The RGB Version).

At first I thought "1000W power supply?!" then I saw your note about SLI. Gotcha.

Digging your part list! Gonna get a decent CPU cooler? I just built in the enthoo pro m, similar interior, loved it! Used Venturi fans as well! +1

Beautiful build! That graphics card is a lot bigger that I thought it would be. That stock cooler looks funny with the logo upside down! Any plans for a AIO cooler or upgraded Air cooler in the future?

Very well cable managed. +1

I do plan on a better cpu cooler in the future but I want custom watercooling and it seemed silly to pay for decent cpu cooler then just replace it in a few months.

Hell of a rig- but for the love of all that is holy and sacred get yourself an aftermarket cooler. Even if you never plan on overclocking, lol. The Evolv ATX is too beautiful to have the intel stock heatsink staring you down everytime you glance at it.
