Description

Wanted to upgrade from a 4 year old Toshiba laptop. This will be used for gaming and productivity.

The build went smooth, the only issue I had was the Spire cooler. That was a little scary, as I had to apply some force to get it on.

I bought most of my stuff at Microcenter, I highly recommend it for CPU+mobo combos.

Part Reviews

CPU

Great bang for the buck CPU.

Memory

Works nicely with my Ryzen build. No issues

Storage

Does what it needs to do. Nothing special.

Case

Cable management can be annoying, and the case fans cannot be controlled manually.

Power Supply

Has not blown up yet. The cables suck though, not recommended.

if you want a cheap speed increase I'd recomend getting a 120gb ssd - or even 60 - and use storeMI as it will boost load times and speeds well while having large space.
