Description

This has really gotten out of control. From updating every other year to every other month! Especially since I've gotten into custom sleeving my own cables. Wife thinks i'm crazy, what do you all think?

At last, good to see a pc which isn't ugly with all the ugly RGB lighting. Very beautiful pc, like the white and gold theme. Looks very premium

Love how you pulled off the gold-white sleeving and matching it to your build.

I'm here to leave a comment after seeing your profile description because I can TOTALLY relate to that. And seeing that you have 7 builds (and probably counting) under the belt, please enlighten me sir!

  1. How do you not get the hostile stare when box after box with words like Newegg/ Performance PCs/ EKWB appear on your home's doorstep?

  2. Do your kids get curious about your builds? My older son is starting to wonder why I'm always bent over some rig with a screwdriver, and the occasional dremel.

  3. Where do you stash away all those ATX/ mid-ATX builds? I'm taking the current custom build in and out of the box every night to work on it and not get "detected".

About them custom sleeving, yes, after a while, wife will think you are crazy. Mine has given up on me after I used up 2 kitchen lighters thanks to heatshrinkless. In fact, I think we've inhaled enough of the melted heatshrink aroma to become crazy.

Haha! thanks for the compliment!

I've actually built a bit more for family members but never took any photos.

  1. I try my best to sweep up the boxes before my wife notices =D
  2. Going to be building a new pc for my eldest daughter in april. They really don't care about the pc, they just want to play games.
  3. I only have 2 builds currently in my house, mines and my wife's itx.

You gotta post your builds! I have a love hate relationship with sleeving. I love the outcome but my fingers and sanity can only take so much. I had posted my sleeving services for commission and after doing nearly 10 full sets in a 2 month period, I felt like i never wanted to sleeve cables again.

Oh here is a photo of my latest update. Got rid of the lightning z and went for a strix 2080ti.

Flow meter. Thanks. How did I forget that? Off to my 4th round of shopping for parts of the custom loop.

Here's what I have so far. I'll create a build post it once it completes. This is my first custom build so there's no prior build unless you are interested in looking at my hacked up Alienware Aurora R8.

Thumbs and index finger don't feel much heat anymore after all that squeezing melted PETG. Feel free to chastise me for that sloppy job on the sense wires.

Man nice job on the cabling! Looks great! I went with acrylic tubing for the glassy finish. That looks like it going to be an amazing finish project from all directions!

Thanks. p0Pe is the inspiration. I just couldn't follow through with the last part near the PSU so I just did it the flat-end way.

Hey, I just stumbled on your rig's post on r/watercooling! I still don't have a reddit account but I totally agree that the GPU will not overheat with the side clearance on the XL.

Hey man beautiful build. Was curious was vertical gpu mount you are using? I have the same case and wanted to mount my card the same way

I got the coolermaster vgpu mount. It doesn't fit with my card, I had to make some modification to get it to work.

How is the push-pull radiator working for you? Did you get the i9 stable at 5.0?
