Awesome build! I am thinking of building a small build like this one with the same mobo, what do you think of it?

Fantastic mobo, imo, but I'm not super picky. Personally wish mobo didn't have an included i/o shield and that it was separate, as the built-in one doesn't 100% fit the slot - there's a very very tiny gap.

Because the detached shield allows the motherboard to seat properly - the tiny amount of oversize given to all the connector holes lets the mobo screw down all the way, and also fit all of the holes.

If the I/O shield is preinstalled, you lose this self-centering capability - the case only needs to be off by 1/32 of an inch for gaps and alignment issues to show up.

GPU is on the left on top of the two 120mm fans, I'll add more pictures when I have time to take the side panel off again <3

how are temps at full load gaming with that cooler on the 9600k?

Sorry for the late reply!

Pretty good, I only rarely see spikes up to 75C, but all of my games run around 60-65C if it's CPU demanding.

idle for instance with 2x Chrome windows on each monitor is only at about 48-52C, bounces around ^
