from completed build My Rendering Machine

It's an okay OS, I will say that. But I would still prefer Windows 7. You know if I had money to buy windows 7 again or if I had a product key. But I guess windows 8.1 will do for now.

Not as bad as people claim it is, I don't know my way around it fully which can make it a bit confusing, but It's absolutely fine if you're willing to take the time to learn how it works.

The fastest, lightweight operating system on the market regardless of what Windows 7 user's think. Highly recommended.

Tired of Windows 8 lol

from completed build Inspiron

Fastest OS available until 10 is released. Was easy to get used to and has been fine since.

I want 10...

I like 8.1, it works.

from completed build 1st PC Build January 2015

Coming from XP Professional, this sucks. I'm just sticking it out until Windows 10.

from completed build LGA1150 Green/Black Build

Windows 8.1 Pro currently sells in a student edition for $69.99! It's a great OS!

Even if you dont like the OS, you have to keep up to date. Windows 10 will be here soon.
