Haven't messed with the colour profiles at all, but I have no clue what the people claiming this monitor looks washed out are on about.

Haven't messed around with the 3d because I don't care for it and also don't want to pay the pretty high price for the kit, so no comments about that. For normal use, it's great.

144hz is great, the colors on this monitor are not the best, and I don't like the glossy plastic used everywhere.

I'm completely blown away by this monitor. The sharpness, color and intensity are ridiculous. Pulling it out of the box, I could tell the build quality was really solid. The jump to 144hz was insane, definitely wasn't expecting an experience like this. Definitely will pick up a second one to go with it.

from completed build SniperWolf's Updated Gaming Rig

Going from 60hz 6 ms response time to this monitor, 144hz at 1 ms GTG is a night and day transition in regards to gaming. The colors are terribly washed out when out of the box, but after a bit of calibration it seems to look just as good as any other monitor out there while still retaining the insane refresh rate and minimal input lag.

from completed build Critically Fractal

So smooth, I can't believe it's not butter smooth.

The price of a monitor of that size sounds ridiculous, I admit. However, you get what you pay for. It runs 144hz, supports 3D vision with nVidia/eyefinity setup. If your GPU is nVidia, you can take advantage of the G-Sync features. Pleasantly happy with the monitor overall. There's such a huge difference with 30 fps, 60 fps, 120 fps, and 144fps with gaming when you stare at this monitor long enough, and then change the refresh rate to anything lower than 100 hz.

from completed build The Titan

One of the better looking TN panels I've encountered. a great buy for the price and a good size for lookin'.

from completed build Beast

Out of the box colors on the monitor were quite washed out, but nothing few tweaks and color profile wouldn't fix. All in all great gaming monitor for the price

from completed build The Relentless

This monitor performs exactly as expected. Great color quality and a good size for gaming at a desk. The only complaint I have is that the monitor's brightness can't be reduced enough to make it comfortable to use in low light conditions. I've had to install third-party software to help soften the screen colors to avoid eye strain after the sun sets.

if you play skyrim run moniter at 120 hertz instead of 144 hertz or the will be water flicker but i think that this happens to all 144 hertz moniters
