Ubuntu?
Submitted 13 months ago by Lilgoebes23

How exactly do I install Ubuntu onto a new build? Also, how would I put windows onto that same build in the future?

Do you want to dual-boot, or use Ubuntu first before you can buy Windows?

Go onto Ubuntu's website on any computer with a rewritable DVD drive. Place a blank DVD into the drive then download the latest version of Ubuntu.

When the download is done, you can right-click the ISO and use Window 7's disk burning utility. It should all work well once the disk is burnt.

Once I get Ubuntu installed, will I be able to uninstall it and get windows 8?

You will be able to overwrite it with Windows 8. But make sure you make backups first.

How do I make a backup? Sorry, I have never run Ubuntu before.

It has a built in backup system. Just look for it in the dashboard. :)

He wanted Ubuntu. UNetBootin can download the ISO he wants from the program. It also formats the USB drive for you.
